Synthmark uses Google Analytics (GA) to measure the popularity of stories and pages on the site.
GA doesn’t collect any personally identifiable information. I don’t know who you are or what you are doing, but I can see anonymous page statistics of all users combined together. This is used to tell me which stories and webpages are popular, so I can write more stories for those characters or style.
GA also shows which websites are sending the most readers to Synthmark. It’s useful to know this because I can then focus my limited promotion time on the channels that are working. And use any spare time to write more stories and create art.
Again, I don’t know who you are. However, if you don’t want to be tracked on this website then you can choose to block the cookie from Google Analytics.
